All cases, with the exception of sequestered cases and Secret Marriages are available via the Internet.
Following is the information that will be displayed:
Summary - Case number, type, status, and file date
Parties - All of the parties on the case, and their role in the case, but only the party’s name and attorney information will display.
Events - Any hearing scheduled for a case and the results of those hearings
Granted, Denied, Adjourned, Rescheduled, etc
Docket - Lists all of the docket entries for a case
Disposition - Case disposition information
Costs - Any court fees associated with the case.
Case Number Format (to search):
2004-999999-DE (4 digit year- dash- 6 digit case number-dash- 2 character case type)
Or, for cases created prior to 1986, use the wildcard (*) in place of the year
*999999-DE (wildcard - 6 digit case number-dash- 2 character case type)
Limits to Searching :
Either the case number or Last name is required for searching.
The search is limited to 100 matches.
What is not Available :
Images
Addresses, social security numbers or phone numbers.
Case information prior to 1976, when records became computerized.
